On December 18th, 2010, the Lodi Fire Department was dispatched to Elm Street, in Costa’s Trailer Court, for reports of a “trailer that is on fire.” Moments later, the Chief on scene confirmed that heavy smoke was pushing from the trailer.
The first-due engine company stretched two 1 3/4 handlines and prepared an attack while the trailer was ventilated. Once entry was made, a fire attack was made from two points of entry, and a quick knockdown of the fire was successful. One K-9 victim was found upon a primary search.
No other injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation.
