On January 18, a general alarm dispatch was transmitted after a P.D. officer noticed smoke emanating from the roof. The first due engine forced entry and did a primary search immediately followed up with an attack line. The majority of the very large fire was knocked down before it was determined of potentially dangerous haz mat spillage and combustion.
Haz Mat companies were immediately dispatched and front line firefighters were deconed in sub-zero temperatures. Fire damage was contained to the main manufacturing room and roof. Fire is still under investigation.
