Lodi Takes Delivery of Pierce Velocity Ladder Tower - January 15, 2008

On January 15, 2008, the Lodi Fire Department took delivery of its new 2007 Pierce Velocity Rear Mount 100' Ladder Tower. The Chasis is a Pierce Velocity 8-man cab, with a CAT 550 Engine. Its pump is 2000 GPM and its tank holds 300 gallons of water.

Members from the Lodi Fire Department joined family and friends in celebrating the new truck's arrival on Tuesday night, holding to traditions such as a champagne baptism and blessing from the department's Chaplain.

The wetdown is scheduled for June 28, 2008.
