At approximately 10:30 a.m. on December 3, Hasbrouck Heights Police, Fire and EMS responded with help from Wallington and Lodi Fire Deparments to a serious MVA involving two buses at Route 17 (southbound) and Franklin Avenue.

Upon arrival, units found a bus that had rear-ended another bus. The passengers on both buses suffered minor injuries; however, the driver of the bus in the rear was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition.

Extrication took approximately 45 minutes.
