At approximately 11:12 pm on September 18, Rescue 611 and Engine 615 of the
Lodi Fire Department and Rescue Engine 3 of the Garfield Fire Department
were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with reports of
entrapment on the corner of Westervelt Pl. and Route 46 E.

Upon arrival, members of the Lodi Fire Department and Garfield Fire
Department worked with the Lodi Ambulance Corp. and successfully performed an extrication to remove one victim from the passenger side. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital.
