On August 25, around 10:30 pm, the District 1 engine company and the rescue company were disptached to a motor vehicle accident with reports of entrapment. Upon arrival, units saw a vehicle on its side with EMS already on the scene attending to the victim inside.

Garfield's rescue was also dispatched for mutual aid. An extrication by Lodi and Garfield was done in a professional and timely fashion. Both towns worked hand-in-hand to remove the victim without problem. The victim was then brought to a nearby hospital.
